Howard Brown Health is one of the Midwest's largest LGBTQ+ health organizations. In the midst of layoffs, budget cuts, and a public relations crisis, employee morale was struggling — and the organization had almost no quality photos of its staff. With Pride season approaching, I pitched and executed a series of joy-filled headshot sessions across multiple clinic locations. Employees walked away with professional photos they could use personally; the organization got images that celebrated the people behind the mission. It's one of my favorite projects — proof that good content strategy isn't always about metrics.
